About Us
Our company began as a gas station built in 1955, and we have been serving drivers in Mokena, IL, for over 60 years. Bob Gamboa, one of the current owners, grew up in Mokena and worked at the gas station since 1962 before purchasing it in 1975.
Bob and Maribel Gamboa are now the proud owners of this trusted business. Today, Gamboa’s Auto stands as a testament to their hard work and dedication. It has undergone expansion and remodeling to continue providing exceptional service to our valued customers. Committed to our community, every member of our team proudly resides in the area.
Expansion of Our Business
Bob and Maribel started two additional businesses on Wolf Road to provide even more automotive services. They own the NAPA auto parts store attached to the gas station. They also established Grease Lightning in 1998 to provide quick service for oil changes and lube jobs.
